According to the current Bern Township Trash Collection Contract the only holidays observed by the Trash District collector are:
New Year’s Day,
Memorial Day,
Independence Day,
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day and
Christmas Day

Aseptic cartons will now be accepted for recycling. These cartons are made from multi-layer packaging that combines layers of paper, plastic, and metal to make food containers, especially for liquids such as orange juice and soups. This material is recyclable, once it is sorted to a pure stream and baled.
